About
The Medical College Admission Test, or MCAT, is a precursor exam to student admissions to medical schools. It tests knowledge of natural and social sciences as well as the critical thinking and problem solving skills needed to begin studying medicine.
Composition
The MCAT exam consists of four sections.

The first three sections emphasize foundational concepts, and reflect current research about the most effective methods to learn and use science. Deep knowledge is prioritized over recollection of many discrete facts.
The fourth and final section is similar to typical verbal reasoning sections found in other admissions tests.
