Overview
The ISEE, or Independent School Entrance Exam, is an admissions exam that many private schools use to assess the levels of prospective students. Students taking the ISEE are not penalized for incorrect answers.
Students may take the ISEE once per testing season, for a total maximum of 3 times per school year. Each testing season lasts approximately four months.
The ISEE is available in multiple locations, formats, and environments for students entering grades 2 through 12.
Testing Seasons
Students are only allowed to take one ISEE exam per testing season, for a total of up to three exams in a given school year.

Locations
The ISEE is offered in a variety of different locations, formats, and environments.
In a group environment, students take the ISEE exam in the same room as other students. In an individual environment, each student is the only test-taker in the room.
